Dark Web and Deep Web

Dark Web and Deep Web
Everything Is Not Visible
You use Facebook to learn about your friend's latest updates, YouTube to watch some nonsense videos (yeh, I know you watch some "Educational Stuff" too😁😎), and Netflix to spend the evening with some thrilling series. But it's easy to understand that the internet does not only consist of things that you see every day. There is a lot going on behind the scene.

Terms like Dark Web and Deep Web are pretty much familiar to us. The dark Web is the place on the internet where Google and Bing don't work. You never see any link to Dark Web in search results when you search with a regular search engine. Advertisements about the contents of the Dark Web never pop up while you are browsing. So what the hell is going on there?
Here is the answer to a few questions you might be asking yourself about the Dark Web to quench your thirst for curiosity.

What Is Dark Web?

According to Wikipedia, The dark web is the World Wide Web content that exists on darknets, overlay networks that use the Internet but require specific software, configurations, or authorization to access. In simple terms, Dark Web refers to websites you can not access with your regular browsers like Chrome or Opera and you need some specific software and privilege to access them. Since those sites are highly encrypted and contain dangerous and harmful content so search engines like Google or Bing never show them (actually cannot show them) on search results.
Here you should know that Deep Web is completely different from Dark Web. The deep Web consists of contents that are not accessible by average internet users and not indexed by search engines. The dark Web is actually a network within Deep Web.

Why Dark Web?

The dark Web is used by criminals for various illegal activities such as drug and firearm business, selling porn and other digital content, and even hiring a hitman. Those activities can not go under mass eyes. So, criminals use Dark Web to stay hidden from the rest of the world.

Is It Illegal To Visit Dark Web?

It is not illegal to visit Dark Web. Actually, with five minutes of preparation, anyone can go into the Dark Web. But, man, a lot of things are going on there. The dark Web is filled with inappropriate content. So we do not recommend visiting Dark Web.
The dark Web is designed to be hidden but accessible to anyone who wants to access the place. As long as you are not engaging in anything illegal, you are safe to visit Dark Web.

How Can I Visit Dark Web?

As I've said before accessing Dark Web is not different. You can access Dark Web from any kind of smart device including mobile devices.
Simply go to the official website of Torproject and install the Tor browser. Tor browser is a powerful and safe software used to visit highly encrypted websites. It's available for Windows, OS X, Linux, and Android. After installation, you can visit almost any place in the Dark Web with a Tor browser.

Should I Visit Dark Web?

Dark Web is a place that is used for organizing illegal activities. So it's not a place you want to hang around. However you may take a look for some minutes out of curiosity, but spending too much time in Dark Web is not a good practice.
There are social engineers who can manipulate you to simply have a conversation. It may not seem something like drug dealing or hiring a hitman but it's a beginning. You may start to browse Dark Web regularly thinking it isn't hurting anyone. Having a small talk with a criminal may sound interesting at first but it's very dangerous. Engaging in such activities regularly can change your outlook toward crime and manipulate your morality.

Dark Web is made to hide contents that are either not legal or should not be accessible by mass. It's not made for Connecting people and it has its own purpose. It's ok to take a look at it for once but one should never spend too much time there.
Hope this article helps you to have a basic understanding of the Dark Web. If you have another question you may ask below or simply Google it.
